I currently serve as Production Editor at the American Public Works Association, where I oversee the production of our print and digital publications—from development and design to print and distribution. I work closely with authors to create a clean, consistent voice and style that matches their audience and intent.
I previously worked for Andrews McMeel Publishing, where I wrote copy for a number of digital products, blog articles, and press releases. Before AMU, I worked as a writing consultant at the UMKC Writing Studio and an editorial assistant at New Letters Magazine and The American Educational History Journal. I also served as Blog Editor for the UMKC Women’s Center.
I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a B.A. in English Language and Rhetoric, and a minor in Manuscript, Print Culture, and Editing.
