I am an academic editor with an MA in professional writing (composition & rhetoric) and an MS in human development along with degrees in French and psychology. I currently work in academic publishing and have nearly a decade of experience in higher education (a combination of mental health- and writing-related teaching/tutoring as well as writing center administration).

My primary focus is pre-submission language editing of scholarly manuscripts. I frequently work with material in hospitality and tourism, psychology, sociology, economics, STEM, and healthcare. In addition, I provide developmental and stylistic copyediting and proofreading services for grants, research proposals, and textbooks. Most of my clients are non-native English speakers, especially from China and other parts of Asia.

I currently maintain ongoing departmental affiliations at Harvard University, Temple University, the University of South Carolina, Xiamen University, and others.
