Academic, ESL, language editing, consulting, journal articles, dissertations
I am an academic editor with an MA in professional writing (composition & rhetoric) and an MS in human development along with degrees in French and psychology. I have worked in higher education (as faculty and in administration) and in academic publishing.
I focus on language editing for scholarly manuscripts. I frequently work with material in education, healthcare, hospitality and tourism, psychology, sociology, and STEM. In addition, I provide developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading services for conference materials, grants, research proposals, and textbooks. I am available for copywriting projects as my schedule allows. Most of my clients are non-native English speakers, especially from Asia.
Edited manuscripts have been published in the following journals: Computer Networks, Current Issues in Tourism, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management, Journal of Education and Learning, Journal of Travel Research, Psychiatry Research, South African Journal of Philosophy, Tourism Management, Turkish Studies, and others.
