I have over twelve years' experience in copyediting and proofreading and have worked on over 350 fiction, nonfiction, and academic titles. After my Masters in English, I started my career as an in-house editor with Seagull Books and Cambridge University Press. After six years as an in-house editor, I started my own editing company and worked with indie authors and with publishers such as Bloomsbury, The MIT Press, Oxford University Press, Macmillan Learning, Pearson, and Routledge. I am also the author of ICSE English textbooks, part of the English Brook series, published by Macmillan Learning.
I pride myself on being a global editor, having lived and worked in three countries, India, US, and Canada.
The most exciting highlight of my career has been proofreading the 2012 Nobel-prize-winning author Mo Yan's book, Pow!
