Sarah Etinas is a content writer and editor based on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Sarah was raised in the Hawaiian Islands and is professionally trained in writing, allowing her to draw from a one-of-a-kind reservoir of knowledge.
After obtaining her undergraduate degree in English Writing & Rhetoric from Pepperdine University in California, Sarah returned to her home island, where she pursued her master’s degree in professional writing (MSPW) at the New York University (NYU) School of Professional Studies. Through the MSPW program, Sarah has strengthened many applicable skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
Sarah has also written for a variety of online and in-print publications, including HONOLULU Magazine, Hawaii Parent Magazine, The Culture-ist, EatLiveTravelDrink, Disney Trippers, and Follow Me Away. While writing for these publications, Sarah put many of her skills to use and developed a few more, including content management system (CMS), search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, data analysis, photography sourcing, and brand partnerships.
