I am nearing the completion of my MA in English with a concentration in Literature, Medicine, and Culture and a special focus in the anthropology of health. My creative non-fiction and research articles have been published in the Health Humanities Journal, Synapsis, Mississippi Quarterly, Carolina Quarterly, and other outlets. As an undergraduate, I served as copy chief for The Daily Mississippian, and I have experience writing, organizing, and editing content for academic blogs such as that run by the HHIVE Lab at UNC Chapel Hill.
