I am a freelance copy editor and proofreader with over 11 years of experience in renewable energy proposal editing, copyediting, content writing, and project management roles. Beyond the editing experience I’ve gained, this role has provided me with familiarity in managing multiple, deadline-heavy projects at a time—both within the company and in a front-facing customer position.
But my passion has always been in helping writers produce books to be adored by readers for lifetimes to come. With the intent to surround my world with literary analysis and the written word, I recently opened my editing company. As a copy editor of fiction, nonfiction, and memoirs, I help writers and publishing houses polish their manuscripts to draw the art out of their words.
I have a BA in English from the University of Delaware, and both a Certificate in Effective Editing and a Certificate in Grammar from Delaware Technical Community College.
I am a member of the American Copy Editors Society (ACES) and the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA).
