I have been editing part-time since 2000, working up from beta reading, to proofreading, to formal editing contracts gradually. In 2019 I left classroom teaching to work full time in editing. My work history includes stints as a journalist, author of narrative fiction, and English educator. I have worked with writers whose first language is not English and first-time authors from Germany, France, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, as well as all across the United States.
