For the past ten years, I have been teaching writing and grammar at the collegiate level. During that time, I have been working as a copyeditor and proofreader for academic articles, dissertations, non-fiction works, and screenplays. I earned my BA from Kennesaw State University in English Literature, MA of American Studies from the University of Florida, and Ph.D. from the University of Study in Cultural Studies and Diversity Rhetoric. At the University of Florida, I teach rhetorical composition and Writing in the Disciplines (Writing for Engineers, Writing for Social Scientists, and Strategic Communications for Advertising and Marketing). Finally, I have also written screenplays that placed in contests such as Screencraft and Sundance and articles for major blogs, historical journals, and national magazines. For the past two years, I have worked closely with Fortress Press, copyediting and proofreading manuscripts for upcoming releases.
