Indie fiction of any genre, including romance and erotica

As an established editor of indie authors' fiction, I offer full edits, developmental critiques, and manuscript reviews (the latter for short-form nonfiction). My editing style combines developmental, substantive, and copy editing. Complete details are available from my website.

I attended college to become an English teacher. I did teach--for a year. From there I entered the technical editing arena, and from there I ended up in the role-playing game publishing field for over ten years. After a lengthy hiatus, I re-entered the editing field as an independent contractor with a focus on indie writers. My fees reflect the needs of that market; I charge less than many other editors, because I want the people who need my services to be able to afford them.

My blog posts provide the perfect window into my editorial style. As my Twitter bio says, I am "irreverent yet businesslike." Working with me should be an enjoyable experience, not a chore. I aim to teach while I polish my clients' prose. Ask for a sample edit of up to 1K words, free and without obligation. I'll treat the sample exactly as I would your project. I look forward to hearing from you.
