Academic, Non-fiction, Literary Criticism, Philosophy, Ecology, Theology
As an editor, writer, and reader, interdisciplinary writing is my specialty. When writers attempt to combine two or more often disparate fields of study, their writing often loses precision. But with an editor's guidance, the loose and abstract connections between ecology and theology, for example, become exciting not only for the writer but also for the reader.
I advocate for the reader and help the writer give form to their content. A freelance editor and aspiring environmental journalist, I study environmental ethics, climate policy, and ecocriticism. With more than four years of experience editing, I have proofread and copy edited seminary students' dissertations, graduate students' essays, a biblical commentary, and a psychology professor's peer-reviewed textbook. I am experienced with the following styles: Turabian, Chicago, MLA, SBL, AP, and APA.
