With over 20 years of experience in both publishing and corporate content-development environments, I've had the opportunity to serve as a chief editor or editorial director in medical journals, trade publications and health magazines.
I have led editorial, art and production teams in publishing and corporate roles, and also served as a production editor in allied-health books.
I've been fortunate enough to win many awards for editorial excellence and journalism, including an "Excellence in Health Journalism Award" in 2014, three medical blogging awards in 2010, and several GAMMA Awards between 1997 and 2001.
I continue to write for industry trade magazines and, in the last 11 years, alone, have served as the Editor of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, as the Content Manager for Becton Dickinson, and as a full-time editor and writer.
