Description:

I am a freelance copy editor with over 20 years of experience in writing, editing, and communications. I think strategically about each project’s overall organization, messaging, and design while meticulously tending to its grammar, spelling, and punctuation. My goal is to make your writing as clear and compelling as possible while retaining your voice.

My clients include scholars, business professionals, graduate students, medical doctors, visual artists, and independent authors. Testimonials are available on my website (link below).

I have worked for art museums, international art magazines, newspapers, nonprofit organizations, an international retail company, and online journals.

I earned my B.A. from Wellesley College, majoring in art history. I hold master’s degrees from UCLA (art history) and Hunter College, CUNY (secondary education, social studies). While earning these degrees, I also studied anthropology, sociology, psychology, Japanese, history, and documentary film.

I am an active member of several professional editing associations. Because language and editing tools are always changing, I attend webinars and conferences and take specialized courses in the field of editing whenever possible.
