I am a freelance copy editor with over 20 years of experience and a demonstrated record of success. I think strategically about each project’s overall organization, messaging, and design while meticulously tending to its grammar, spelling, and punctuation. My goal is to make your writing as clear and compelling as possible while retaining your voice.
My clients include academic authors, graduate students, business executives, and website editors. I have successfully completed copy editing projects for art museums, international magazines, and several non-profit organizations. Testimonials are available on my website (link below).
I earned my B.A. from Wellesley College, majoring in art history. I also took courses in philosophy, anthropology, sociology, psychology, and Japanese.
I hold master’s degrees from UCLA (art history) and Hunter College, CUNY (secondary education, social studies). While earning these degrees, I studied topics in U.S. history including immigration and feminism, as well as anthropology, ethnology, and documentary film.
