A self-described word geek and trivia queen, Deborah founded the company in 2003. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from McGill University (1988), and a Certificate in Web Publishing from Simon Fraser University’s Writing and Publishing program (2004). She recently completed the Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing (2017). Deborah has studied French, Spanish, and German, and she can sing in Italian. She also has more than 20 years’ experience in legal and engineering administrative and marketing support, which naturally includes writing, editing and proofreading.
Accomplishments in addition to all manner of business correspondence, technical reports, and proposals include editing and assembling newsletters; editing critical business correspondence for clients whose first language is not English; review and correction of website and menu copy for several Vancouver restaurants; and review, correction, and harmonization of a corporate client’s multiple menus across multiple venues.
