As a former CEO and an award-winning writer, I bring an eclectic blend of skillsets to any project: strategic business planning and management skills; business writing and nonprofit grantwriting experience, securing $300M+ in government and foundation grant awards; resume writing, maintaining a 5-star rating on several platforms; and creative writing (currently pursuing the MFA in Creative Fiction at San Francisco State University). I've edited several novels, plays, short stories, and memoirs for my clients.
I hold a BA in political science and MPA from St. Mary's University. I've earned a Certification in Nonprofit Management & Leadership from UT-San Antonio and a Certification in Type Personality (MBTI) from the CBT-Institute.
I've received the MetLife Award for Innovation in After School, the San Antonio Business Journal's 40 under 40 Award, City of San Antonio Greenbuilder Award, IPAC Extra Mile Award (2X recipient), Healthiest Employer Award (3X winner), and President's Scholar Award (St. Mary's University). I was also the 2014 commencement speaker for St. Mary's University.
