I am a lover of language, as most in this industry are. My accumulation of editing experience is built upon my working as an assistant editor for academic journals, writing and editing background guides as a volunteer staff member for the National Model United Nations conferences, and now through my own pursuits as a freelance editor. I taught English as a foreign language for three years in Istanbul and have undertaken my own foreign language study in Turkish and Arabic. The movement of meaning in translation fascinates me. My educational journey has enabled me to examine the narratives in which we operate - whether within religion, politics, or our personal stories - through metaphor and parable. In sum, I aim to support the communication of our human experiences professionally and beyond.
