I’m a freelance writer and editor in the Philadelphia area with more than a decade of experience. I specialize in non-fiction editing, specifically developmental/substantive editing, copy editing, and proofreading.
I'm a former newspaper reporter with a Master's in journalism from Columbia. As a writer, I focus on healthcare, health and medicine, innovation, and the state of New Jersey. My work has been published in outlets including Penn Medicine Magazine, The Washington Post On Parenting, Latina, the AARP Bulletin, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and ZDNet (formerly SmartPlanet).
I’m also a college journalism instructor, teaching on-site and online for Villanova University since 2010. My courses include Journalism Practices and Feature Writing.
