Past work includes copyediting books for SUNY Press (history and Asian studies titles), curriculum materials for Social Studies School Service, and a textbook on hotel operations published by Higher Education Press in Beijing. Regular freelance copyeditor and proofreader for Proof-reading-service.com from June 2015 to April 2019 (up to 30,000 words per week). In that role, mostly worked on academic articles for submission to peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters, dissertations, theses, and reports; ensured correct spelling, grammar, usage, documentation, and formatting. Also have extensive experience editing theses and dissertations in the U.S. and China.
