Freelancer since 2014, available for copyediting, line editing, fact checking, proofreading, and transcribing. Past work includes copyediting books for SUNY Press (history and Asian studies titles), curriculum materials for Social Studies School Service, and a textbook on hotel operations published by Higher Education Press in Beijing. Regular freelance copyeditor and proofreader for from June 2015 to April 2019 (up to 30,000 words per week). Mostly worked on academic articles for submission to peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters, dissertations, theses, and reports. Ensured correct spelling, grammar, usage, documentation, and formatting. Also have extensive experience editing master’s theses in the U.S. and China.

In addition, I am the founder and editor of a small journal of nonfiction about China, called Brush Talks, for which I do all the copyediting, fact checking, and proofreading. See
