A lifelong reader and writer, Andrea Berns graduated from Loras College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. Realizing she had a thirst to learn more about books and language, she pursued a master’s degree in English Studies at Illinois State University. During this time, she began freelance copy editing in addition to her coursework and quickly found a passion for it. Shortly after her 2018 graduation, she decided to pursue this passion as her career. Andrea works closely with the Chicago Manual of Style and the Merriam-Webster dictionary to polish manuscripts and make them the best they can possibly be while maintaining the author's unique voice and style.
