Now you can be a part of it. 

Members of the task force are critical to helping ACES piece together a valuable and engaging educational program for all conference attendees. 

Having the perspective of ACES members who are experienced professionals in the editing industry is essential to the entire selection process.

Overall responsibilities

The task force is responsible for reviewing and ranking all the proposed sessions during our annual conference cycle, the fall virtual conference and the spring in-person conference. The upcoming conferences are ACES VCON24, September 25-27, 2024, and ACES 2025 Salt Lake City, April 3-5, 2025. 


If you're impressed with ACES educational sessions at its conferences, give all credit to the hard work and dedication of the ACES Conference Session Selection Task Force, under the guidance and direction of Kristin Shoop, the ACES Events and Professional Development Manager.

Specific duties

The time commitment is two-fold: a 45-minute orientation on Zoom and the actual review process.
