Laura Standley is the director of copy and language services at Droga5, a creative advertising agency based in New York City that's now part of Accenture Song. Her writing has appeared in The Atlantic—where, since 2016, she’s written the annual 50 Best Podcasts list—The Believer, The Guardian, Thrillist and American Contemporary Artist, among others. She has nearly twenty years of professional copy-editing experience, and she co-created the award-winning Writing and Editing for Equality program for Droga5 in 2018. She earned her MFA in creative nonfiction from Columbia University in 2014 and currently lives in Brooklyn.
