In addition to over 40 sessions, ACES will offer "Peer Connection Coffee Chats." Coffee Chats are a way to network and engage with those who work in a similar field. These sessions will be an opportunity to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. Groups will be in tables of ten people- seats are limited and reserved on a first come first served basis. The cost is $10 per person and advance registration is required at the time you register for the conference. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable.

On Wednesday, March 22, attendees have the opportunity to participate in or watch the annual Education Fund Spelling Bee.

Those wishing to participate must be registered for the conference or members of ACES. The cost to participate is $25 and is limited to the first 14 to register. You can also choose to pay $15 to watch the Spelling Bee. Your fees go directly to the ACES Education Fund, and can help ACES fund the future of editing through our annual scholarship program. Tickets are available for purchase during the registration process.

Why should I attend?

ACES' annual conference connects editors, communication professionals, and language experts from around the globe who share a common goal: to improve the quality of the written word and the working lives of editors. ACES Evolve is designed to guide attendees in learning new ways to communicate their value as an editor, collaborate with peers, exercise their expertise, and invest in their professional development.

What's included

Participants will receive entrance to each day's sessions based on the length of their attendance, as well as a name badge. Three-day registrants will also receive entrance to Thursday evening's reception and Friday evening's banquet until space reaches capacity (the form will indicate when spaces are full). Session handouts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at sessions that provide them.

What's not included

The registration fee covers only the conference and does not include hotel, airfare or travel expenses, parking, or food outside of the banquet.

Refund Policy

ACES will refund any single registration by February 23, 2023. Exceptional circumstances may persuade ACES to refund registration after this date on a case-by-case basis. Refunds for travel and accommodations will not be provided. Read our cancellation policy.
