Brit Stamey has worked in publishing since 2006 in a variety of roles in editorial and copyediting. Brit currently oversees the Copyediting Division of J&J, managing their team of in-house copy editors and proofreaders. She is an active member of ACES: The Society for Editing, Council of Science Editors (CSE), International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE), and Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP). In her free time, she plays Sims and Animal Crossing as well as caring for a variety of rescue animals. (Pronouns: she/her and they/them)
