Aubrey is obsessed with helping people understand the news and helping the news understand people. In her work with Resolve, she aims to connect newsrooms with their constituents in meaningful ways that inspire more equitable and accurate representation. She leads Reframe, a new initiative bringing tools and resources to newsrooms that help them use more inclusive, human-centered language in their reporting. Before joining Resolve, Aubrey was the Newsletter Editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer where she authored the flagship morning newsletter and oversaw a growing slate of editorial newsletters. Prior to that, she served as Communications Manager for Opera Philadelphia and as Managing Editor for Lifestyle & Entertainment at PhillyVoice. In her free time, Aubrey writes educational videos and newsletters about media literacy, including two series for John and Hank Green’s Crash Course brand.
